SIMILE

SIMILE
A comparison of two things that have something in commen using the words like, as, then, or resembles.

Examples From Literature:

"Her face is closed as a nut,
closed as a careful snail
or a thousand-year-old seed."
"House Guest," a poem from The Complete Poems by Elizabeth Bishop (1927-1979).

"My mind wastes away and my doubts start to gather
What's the purpose
It feels worthless
So unwanted like I've lost all my value"
"More Than Useless" from Reliant K from their CD Mmhmm (2004).

My Examples:

I love you like a fat kid loves cake.

I'm quick as a ninja!
